Work in progress

Nowhere near done, list of things to do:

  • I need to straighten the building more, retake the pictures of my church, and work on the sidewalks and driveways connected to the buildings.
  • I plan to improve the sky and add in some light paintings.
  • I might take out the bookstore and Eisenhower to make the rest of the buildings larger.
I plan on printing it as large as the printer will allow to show as much detail as possible. I've already scaled down all of the images by 60%, but there is still a lot of detail.

  1. This is awesome! It's such a neat way to see where is important in your life!! And how it's like the revolving circle. Like, daily this pattern of where you continuously repeats! I can't wait to see how it turns out!

  2. I really enjoy this idea, and I am excited to see it when it's completely finished. I really enjoy that the only thing you are actually taking pictures of is the buildings and that you are not taking any images of the sky or brining in any other images. Good luck I hope all works out for oyu in the end.

  4. This is really coming along! Interesting composite image of the important places in your life, a sort of self-portrait through location. The repititious, grass swirl reminds me of a maze and plays nicely with the buildings on the outside. I enjoy that, although the buildings are specific to you, I could enjoy this piece without knowing the exact locations. I agree that you could continue to work on the sky- perhaps just some variation in the clouds could help...

  5. I really like this, it shows the campus as a whole world, i'm interested what else you might add to this, too many objects might be to clustered but you have a lot of room for more, will be watching :)

  6. This is great work, but I'm just curious if this is going to be close to the finished product, or if you're going to add more to the image or take pieces away. I'm also curious about the sky; if you're going to keep it that way or use the sky from each image and blend them together.
